This enables them to switch from an operationally intensive implementation to cost- and time-saving management with the option of flexible use of the available lockers. This offers more convenience for both the user and the administrator.

Based on new needs, Quispel has developed the Qeeper Smart Locker System as an active partner for innovative, sustainable locker solutions. With the help of Qeeper, anyone can safely store, collect, deliver, issue, lend and return physical items or pass them on to each other at any time and place.

Sustainability plays an important role in this. Aware of our social role, we work on innovative and sustainable concepts. In doing so, we take people, the environment and society into account as much as possible. Revitalization and reuse of existing products are important points of attention. Just like reducing contact moments. Fewer physical contact moments during the delivery and receipt of orders, for example, means fewer transport movements and therefore less CO2 emissions.

All-in-one

Because lockers are increasingly equipped with electronic locks, new possibilities and functionalities are being created. The IoT (Internet of Things) makes extending the services of standard lockers with an electronic lock very easy. Qeeper then turns lockers into solutions for storing personal items, for example, but also for receiving, passing on, handing over (whether or not for a fee) and offering products. This makes a locker an all-rounder. Think of receiving and distributing parcels. Online shop orders can, for example, be delivered to a locker at work or to a location en route. And can be picked up by the recipient after receipt of the delivery notification via e-mail or app. After pick up the locker is free again for the next order.

Quispel also offers these options for lockers with a cooling and/or freezer function for fresh groceries, meals or medicines. In this way, the time and costs of consumers, companies, public service providers, retailers and delivery services are efficiently arranged.

An important part of our smart locker solutions is the underlying IT platform. This makes it easy to automatically assign and manage lockers and to inform system users about the status of lockers and orders.

All for one

Quispel has developed a way to integrate existing lockers with electronic locks from various other systems into Qeeper's own platform. Different brands of lockers and different types of electronic locks can be connected and controlled on one software platform. Existing locker configurations can be upgraded, made fully future-proof and, if desired, immediately provided with new functionalities.

Quispel even goes a step further than revitalizing previous generations of electronic lockers. It has also developed a solution to upgrade existing lockers with a mechanical lock (padlock, cylinder lock with key, combination lock, PIN code or pawn lock) to electronic lockers, after which they can be managed and controlled online. It is no longer necessary to replace 'old' mechanical lockers with 'new' electronic lockers to gain the advantages in terms of management and ease of use. That is sustainable and economical.
